Venue

Unless I agree otherwise with the parties, it is the parties’ responsibility to hire and pay for the use of a venue with suitable facilities where the mediation can take place.  The venue should include use of a minimum of 2 rooms, but preferably 3 rooms, for the whole day of the mediation taking into account the possibility of a need for additional hours.  I will discuss and agree with the parties (or their advisers, if applicable) what venues and facilities are appropriate, which are likely to be:

·       on site (particularly useful in property disputes, as these should include a site visit);

·       at the office of one of the party’s legal or other adviser;

·       a neutral venue arranged by one of the parties or their advisers (in consultation with me).

Professional Indemnity Insurance

I have professional indemnity insurance cover in place in respect of providing civil and commercial mediation services.

VAT

I am not currently registered for VAT.
